About these terms
These terms apply when you use HOAist, an AI community agent on WhatsApp operated by Bitseeker LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company, including the public demo. By messaging a HOAist agent or using this website, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy.
AI answers can be wrong
HOAist uses AI to answer questions from community documents and general rules. AI can misunderstand questions, miss details or be wrong. Always check important answers against the official documents, and ask your board or manager when it matters. The agent tries to show where its answer came from so you can check.
Not legal advice
HOAist provides general information only. It is not a lawyer and does not give legal, financial or professional advice. Talk to a qualified professional about your specific situation.
Not for emergencies
Do not use HOAist for emergencies. If anyone is in danger, or there is a fire, crime, gas leak or medical emergency, call 911. For urgent building problems, contact your property manager or the appropriate service directly.
Acceptable use
Please don't:
- Send anything illegal, threatening, harassing, hateful or sexually explicit, or photos of people taken without consent.
- Share other people's private information without a good reason.
- Impersonate someone else or try to get information you are not entitled to.
- Spam the agent, try to break, overload or reverse-engineer the service, or try to trick the AI into ignoring its rules.
We may limit or block use that breaks these rules.
The demo is fictional
"Demo Lakes" and its agent "Par" are a fictional community and demo agent. Its documents, people, rules and reports are made up for demonstration and do not describe any real association. Demo data is deleted after 7 days.
Communities
For real communities, the association controls how HOAist is used and its official decisions, records and votes happen through the association's normal processes, not through the agent. A separate written agreement between the association and BitSeeker LLC may also apply.
No warranty
HOAist is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not promise it will always be available, error-free or accurate.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, BitSeeker LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for decisions made based on AI answers. Our total liability for any claim relating to the free demo or this website is limited to US $100.
Governing law
If these terms form an enforceable agreement, they are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Subject to applicable law, proceedings must be brought exclusively in the state courts located in Sheridan County, Wyoming, or the United States District Court for the District of Wyoming. You waive objections to jurisdiction and venue in those courts to the maximum extent permitted by law. This provision does not make a contract where no contract was formed.
Changes
We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top. Continuing to use HOAist after a change means you accept the updated terms.
